Phone QR Code Generator — call with one scan

Scanning starts a call to your number — no typing, no transposed digits. Generated locally, nothing uploaded.

Runs locally — nothing is uploaded

Content type

Everything you enter stays on your device – nothing is uploaded or stored.

Higher levels stay readable when damaged or printed small — the code gets denser.

Dark modules on a light background scan most reliably.

Logo & branding

Logo and text sit centred on a clean knockout panel. Always test-scan before printing.

Enter text or a URL — your QR code appears instantly.

More QR code types

A phone QR code dials your number the moment someone scans it and confirms — no typing, no transposed digits, no searching. Ideal for service hotlines, craftsmen's vans, shop windows and business cards. Enter your number below in international format and download the code.

How does a phone QR code work?

The code contains a tel: link (RFC 3966), the same standard behind tap-to-call numbers on websites. The camera app shows the number and offers to call it — the person always confirms before the call starts, so a scan can never dial secretly.

Where does a call code beat a printed number?

Anywhere people see your number in passing: vehicle lettering, construction site fences, posters, door signs and emergency contacts in stairwells. Reading an 11-digit number from a moving van is hopeless — scanning a code at a red light takes two seconds.

How to create the code

  1. Enter your phone number in international format (+49 …).
  2. Style the code or add your logo — error correction rises automatically.
  3. Download and print it large enough: at viewing distance of 1 m the code should be at least 10 × 10 cm.

Frequently asked questions

Does scanning start the call immediately?

No. The phone shows the number first and the person confirms the call — that's built into iOS and Android and can't be bypassed by the code.

Is my number uploaded when I create the code?

No. The tel: link is generated entirely in your browser; the number never reaches a server.

Which number format should I use?

International format with country code (+49 30 1234567). Spaces and dashes are removed automatically; the plus sign stays. That way the code works for callers from any country.

Can I use it for special-rate numbers?

Technically yes — any diallable number works. Be transparent about costs next to the code; surprise charges hurt trust more than they earn.
