A Wi-Fi QR code stores your network name, security type and password in one scannable image. Guests point their camera at it and join your network instantly — no typing, no spelling out the password. Enter SSID and password below; the code is generated entirely in your browser.
How does a Wi-Fi QR code work?
The code contains a standardized text payload (WIFI:T:WPA;S:name;P:password;;) that iOS and Android cameras understand natively — supported since iOS 11 (2017) and Android 10. Scanning shows a “Join network” prompt; one tap connects. Special characters in the name or password are escaped automatically so the code always scans correctly.
Where are Wi-Fi QR codes useful?
Print one for your guest room, café tables, waiting room, holiday rental or office reception. You keep a strong, complex Wi-Fi password without ever having to dictate it — and you can frame the code with your logo and brand colours using the design options above.
Is it safe to enter my Wi-Fi password here?
Yes — and verifiably so. The code is generated entirely in your browser: your SSID and password are never sent to a server, never logged and never stored. You can even load this page, switch to airplane mode and generate the code offline. Remember the printed code itself grants access, so place it where only intended guests see it.
How to create the code
- Choose the security type (WPA/WPA2 is the usual choice) and enter your network name (SSID) and password.
- Optionally style the code: colours, shapes, a logo or a frame.
- Download as PNG for screens or SVG/EPS/PDF for print, and place it where guests can scan it.
